Google Glass, Whats Your Opinion.

Google Glass, Whats your opinion on the revolutionary prototype? Would you wear it? Personally i think it's just another distraction that will cause more accidents.



For a mere $1500 if it ever goes into mass production, The 16gb Google Glass headset has built in navigation that gives you a display of the map & route your travelling, Just what we don't need to distract drivers. You can also get txt msg's & emails read to you, with the ability to respond using voice recognition and we all know how bad voice recognition can be. on the whole though that's a plus point because it saves you being distracted by looking at your phone or tablet. You can only however do google searches & simple searches like the weather for instance, but you can't do full page searches or watch videos.The Google Glass does however allow you to take pictures & record video without anybody ever realising it, as there is no LED light to say it's operational which could pose a problem in some cases.

You will also still need to carry your phone because Google Glass connects to your phone via Bluetooth effectively you are wearing another device, a smart phone on your head. but it does'nt have a cellular connection, In order to pair it to your phone you are going to need to use tethering which could cost you more money, reports say an extra $40 a month depending on your mobile carrier. All in All a pretty expensive hands free kit.
